PR: Easily Watermark Photos with PhotoMarks for iPhone & iPad

Bits&Coffee has released PhotoMarks 2, a universal iOS app that applies text and logo watermarks to photos and then shares them on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or via Email.

The text marks (watermarks) are fully customizable with a wide selection of fonts, a great color palette, and effects like: shadow, stroke, and adjustable transparency. The text can be easily placed, scaled, or rotated with simple taps, and the rotation algorithm will snap to 90-degree increments for convenience.

The logo marks can be any image from the device (e.g. a custom logo) and can be customized with adjustable transparency and a shadow effect. As with the text marks, the logo can be easily placed, scaled and rotated with simple taps.

Working with multiple layers is an easy and visually pleasing experience in PhotoMarks, especially with the added support of undo/redo for every editing operation. Photos can be added from the device’s library and the resulting images can be saved in full resolution to Camera Roll or easily shared on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or sent via Email.

PhotoMarks v. 2.0 is a universal iOS app which costs $2.99(US) and runs on the newest devices from Apple: iPhone 6s, 6s Plus, iPad Pro, as well as older devices like iPhone 4 and newer. PhotoMarks has support for the latest version of iOS (version 9) as well as older versions: iOS 8 and 7.

PR: ActivityTracker App, Tracks All-Day Activity via Apple Watch and iPhone

Bits&Coffee has released ActivityTracker, an Apple Watch and iPhone app that empowers users to quantify their daily activity without draining their smartphone’s battery and without wearing yet another fitness gadget.

Many gadgets that track the daily activity as steps taken, distance walked and so on, have appeared in the last few years. The only problem is that users need to wear those gadgets everywhere and not forget to charge them, sometimes even daily. Yet, many people already carry a multifunctional gadget, perfectly capable of quantifying their daily activity: their smartphone!

Most activity tracker apps (like Facebook’s owned Move app) use the GPS for tracking, which gives accurate results but quickly drains the already short-lived iPhone’s battery. Thanks to the new M7 and M8 motion processors available in iPhone 5s, 6, and 6+, ActivityTracker tracks all-day activity without using the GPS, and as a result without draining the battery.

ActivityTracker will keep track of steps taken, distance walked, daily active calorie burn, active time, and flights of stairs climber effortlessly, when the users have their smartphone with them. The app offers accurate measurements by taking into account the users’ gender, weight, and height.

Since no day is like the other, ActivityTracker helps the users be more active by setting a weekly target for steps taken, that will be broken into daily goals for a day-by-day overview.

The app is designed with great attention to details. In the main view, an overview of today and the current week can be seen, with a big animated wheel indicating the day’s progress. The app offers accurate statistics, from a fine grained hour-by-hour breakdown to an overview of the weekly activity.

Additionally, ActivityTracker offers an Apple Watch app for a quick glance at today’s progress, a Today extension and a badge on top of the app icon with the steps taken.

ActivityTracker is a functional free app without advertising. It also has advanced features locked under a single in-app purchase (US$2.99). This is an Apple Watch and iPhone app that runs on the latest iPhones with support for the new motion processors from Apple: iPhone 5s, 6, and 6+.

PR: VideoSound — Add Music to Videos and Create Slideshows for iOS

Bits&Coffee has released VideoSound 3, an iOS app that empowers users to create beautiful and engaging photo slideshows with music, add music to their video creations, and upload to Instagram, Vine, and Facebook.

New features in version 3 include: Major interface update for iOS 8 with support for the latest iPhones (6 and 6+), the ability to create photo slideshows with music, and the option to share to Vine.

VideoSound is designed with great attention to details and is structured as an easy to use wizard. In the first step of the wizard, the user can select to either add music to a video/photo or create a slideshow with music.

The users can select one of their videos from the Camera Roll, select a song from iTunes, and even record sound from within the app. The three soundtracks can then be mixed together by adjusting the individual sound volumes, so for example the user can select to mute the original soundtrack and only keep the selected song.

With VideoSound, the users can also create photo slideshows from their photos and music. The photos can be edited and ordered inside the slideshow, iTunes music and a sound recording can be added. VideoSound will then automatically create a tailor made video slideshow for Instagram or Vine.

Finally the last step is dedicated to previewing the video and sharing to social networks like Instagram, Vine, Facebook, or sending via Email.

Price and Availability

VideoSound v. 3.0 costs just $0.99. Additionally, VideoSound has the slideshow feature locked under a single in-app purchase ($1.99). This is a universal iOS app that runs on the newest iPhones (6 and 6+) but also on all devices supporting iOS 7 & 8.
